Attendance Policy

- Subs are posted through Sling (A required app for your employment at Windsor DC)
- Your schedule will be posted on Sling.
- In order to post a sub, you must first request time off. Then you can make your shift available. This allows other student employees to see that they can pick this up.
- If the managers accept your request off, this will be an excused absence, but if it is denied it will be an unexcused absence (unless someone picks it up).
    - We will require documentation for most things before approval.

Excused Absences ☺

- Shifts picked up by another employee
- Illness ( with a doctors note )
- Job Interview ( with documentation )
- Funeral ( with documentation )
- Exams during your shift time
    -No time off will be given to study, unless the study session is approved and hosted by the university.

- 5 Termination
* Unexcused absences can only be removed with documentation with a valid excuse.
-NC/NS is a shift where an employee did not show up to work and did not call in.
- 1 NC/NS (Verbal In-Person Warning with HR Manager)
- 2 NC/NS (Written In-Person Warning with HR Manager)
- 3 NC/NS Termination
* 3 Warnings = 1 unexcused absence
